I have practiced yoga for over 7 years and studied with both British Wheel of Yoga and teacher trained with Dru Yoga Worldwide.
I have started teaching beginners Dru classes and 1:1 tuition which i'm incredibly excited about.
Based upon soft, flowing movements, controlled breathing and visualisation, Dru yoga is both a graceful form of exercise and a potent means of stress relief. With its foundations set firmly in ancient yogic tradition, Dru is a style that has been passed on through the generations. It works on the body and the mind, strengthening core stability and building a heightened feeling of positivity and empowerment.
Dru yoga is based around flowing postures including therapeutic posture work and energy block release sequences which are easy to do yet have amazingly powerful effects on our health. Performed correctly, they can dissolve physical, energetic, emotional and mental blockages.
Dru yoga can be dynamic and powerful as well as gentle and restorative. It focuses on positive transformation through rebalancing the body's subtle energy systems, our thoughts, feelings and inner self, making it a subtle yet effective workout – quite a unique style of yoga that I personally fell in love with straight away!
